Mousam Valley Computer Services was established in 1987 by Daniel Gagner of Sanford, Maine, specializing in Apple II and Macintosh diagnostics. We have serviced hundreds of computers throughout central and southern Maine. The bulk of service and consulting is with school districts.
The information provided here will solve a multitude of problems relating to older and more recent models of Macintosh computers. It weighs more towards older models because that's where the experience is garnered and people will have more problems with the older ones. Everything cannot be covered in any one document. The contents of this document requires that the person working on their computer be reasonably "handy" and able to handle him/her self with taking things apart with confidence. The document is updated as the author is able and willing and becomes more knowledgeable. He is not all knowing and seeing, just a guy willing to take things apart and do some reading. Information comes from experiences and lots of tidbits from books and magazines.
